Today, I had the opportunity to go and experience the Prepper Fest in Phoenix, Arizona. I must say I had a great time…and probably spent too much money…haha…but no regrets.
If you ever have the opportunity to attend one of these events, I recommend you do so. Besides the obvious booths and classes to explore, I found the best part of the whole thing was to meet like-minded, talented people…all with their own experiences and knowledge which I could learn from! A few I would like to mention specifically. The first is David from the USNERDOC channel on YouTube. The others are the folks who run Terroir Seeds from Chino Valley in Arizona. My husband and I had a great time conversing with both of these companies. Both, I felt, had very similar viewpoints about prepping as compared to my own. Specifically, the practice of any skill is essential. It is no good to collect a whole lot of cool stuff, stick it all away in a closet somewhere, and think you will magically know how to use all of it if the world falls apart. As I have said before, I don’t know if practice always makes perfect, but practice will certainly make one more prepared.
